As we welcome the new year, January brings with it a special opportunity to celebrate and support the courageous men and women of law enforcement. In honor of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on January 9th, the 2025 National Blue Blood Drives are set to make an incredible impact. This LifeServe Blood Drive(s) are held in partnership with the National Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), and invites communities to join forces with law enforcement to ensure a strong and steady blood supply.

Law enforcement officers dedicate their lives to protecting and serving their communities, often making extraordinary sacrifices to ensure our safety. During the Blue Blood Blood Drives, LifeServers have the chance to give back by donating blood—a gift that saves lives and demonstrates our gratitude.

Why January Matters
The month of January presents a significant challenge for blood collection. With holiday celebrations behind us and winter weather disrupting routines, fewer blood drives are scheduled, and donation levels tend to drop. Unfortunately, the need for blood never slows down. Hospitals rely on lifesaving blood every day to treat trauma victims, cancer patients, and those undergoing surgeries.
By participating in a LifeServe Blue Blood Blood Drives, you’ll not only honor the dedication of local law enforcement but also help ensure that no patient goes without the critical blood they need.

Donate blood at any LifeServe Blood Center between January 6th - 11th or find a participating mobile blood drive near you. Participating drives are listed to the right.
